Instructional activities
Students will play the game sight words hopper on education.com.
It’s a great website and has many great games that teaches students great
skills. The goal is to get Cuz-Cuz to hop into the correct mud pile. This will
help students with common sight words and improve their reading and listening
skills. It will also help students with the spelling of these words.

I think this is a fantastic game.
Assessment
Teacher will assess students after they finish playing
the game- based on the score that they got. If the teacher see’s that a student
did not do very well and she still needs some practice, she should give her
time in class to practice and do the game which will improve her skills.
Debriefing
Teacher should talk to students how often sight words are
used daily.
What cognitive skills does this game help to cultivate?
